Lege eine Bildersammlung an mit Fotografien, die dich ganz besonders faszinieren. Dafür kannst du beispielsweise Pinterest verwenden oder aber auch Fotos ausdrucken und in ein Notizbuch kleben. Diese Klau-Kartei solltest du regelmäßig aktualisieren und füttern. Die Sammlung dient als Spiegelbild deiner fotografischen Ausrichtung und wird dich inspirieren Neues auszuprobieren und am Ball zu bleiben.

Wenn du für dich Lieblingsfotografen oder -Künstler identifiziert hast, dann mache dir Gedanken über deinen Inspirationsbaum (Lektion 35). Konsumiere alles, was du zu diesen Menschen in die Finger kriegst und suche nach Verbindungen zu anderen Fotografen und dir selbst.
Untersuche die Werke deiner Lieblingskünstler vor allem vor dem Hintergrund des 3 Schritte Prozesses aus der zweiten Lektion:
- WAS fotografieren sie?
- WIE Fotografieren sie? Mit welchen fotografischen Mitteln?
- Und das wichtigste: WARUM fotografieren sie? Was ist ihr großes WARUM? Was kannst du daraus für dich ableiten? Liefert dir das Ideen und Inspiration? Gibt es Parallelen? Vielleicht passen manche Aspekte des WARUMS eines Künstlers und dann wieder manche eines anderen?! Kombiniere und bediene dich dieser Impulse, bis du deine eigene Handschrift findest.
Diese Aufgabe ist wie die Letzte als fortwährender Prozess zu verstehen. Mit der Zeit wird der Baum ganz von alleine wachsen. Mache dir deshalb keinen Druck und tue vor allem eines: widme dich der 4. Aufgabe, die dich auf diesem Weg weiterführen wird.

Die wichtigste Aufgabe, meiner Ansicht nach! Übe dich in Achtsamkeit – und zwar regelmäßig. Egal ob klassische Meditation, Morgenseiten nach Julia Cameron*, ein Spaziergang im Park oder eine Fahrradtour. Es gibt viele Zugänge zur Achtsamkeit und die Büchertipps können dich dabei unterstützen.
Ich wiederhole nochmals: es geht hier nicht darum esoterisch zu werden. Und es ist ganz bestimmt nicht meine Absicht den Guru zu spielen. Fakt ist einfach: Dein inneres Künstlerkind braucht diese Zeit die du dir ganz ohne Agenda selbst schenkst. Mit Achtsamkeit füllt sich dein kreativer Energiepool nämlich ganz von alleine.
*Die Morgenseiten sind nichts anderes als drei Seiten eines täglich, als erstes gleich nach dem Aufstehen handschriftlich niedergeschriebenem Bewusstseinsstroms.
