Manchmal ist die Landschaft einfach zu groß. Manchmal reicht ein Bild nicht aus. Dann ist es an der Zeit, ein Panorama zu erstellen!

Ich habe das Glück, viel Zeit in den großartigen Landschaften Zuhause und in der Ferne zu verbringen. Aber oft stehe ich mit der Kamera in der Hand vor meinem Motiv und kann das gewünschte Bild nicht erstellen, da ich selbst mit einem Weitwinkel-Objektiv einfach nicht „alles auf’s Bild bekomme“.

In diesem Bildrezept, habe ich aus meiner Erfahrung ein Tutorial gebastelt, mittels dessen du dich an dein erstes Panorama-Foto heranwagen kannst.

Idealerweise ein Zoom-Objektiv und Brennweiten zwischen 24 und 50mm

#2 Welches Objektiv ist das Richtige?

Die Wahl der Brennweite ist in erster Linie vom Motiv und dessen Entfernung abhängig.
Eine kürzere Brennweite (Weitwinkel) bannt zwar mehr Motiv ins Bild und spart Speicherplatz (weniger Einzelbilder notwendig), bringt allerdings auch Verzerrung mit sich.

Allerdings würde das gleiche Bild aus mehreren Teleaufnahmen zusammengesetzt, eine viel zu große Auflösung haben.

Es gibt hier keine Regel!

Für mich haben sich je nach Motiv Brennweiten von 24mm bis 50mm bewährt. Ein Standardzoom oder Reisezoom ist daher die perfekte Wahl.

Das A und O für Panoramas ist die manuelle Regelung sämtlicher Parameter!

Die einmal gewählte Brennweite darf natürlich nicht mehr verändert werden für die restlichen Einzelbilder des Panoramas.

Fotografiere desweiteren in jedem Fall im Modus „M“ für Manuelle Belichtung. Andernfalls kann es passieren, dass die interne Belichtungsmessung der Kamera die Blende und/oder Belichtungszeit verändert und die Bilder nicht zusammenpassen:

Auch der Weißabgleich darf nicht automatisch geregelt werden, sondern sollte einen festen Wert haben (z.B. Tageslicht).

Gleiches gilt für den Fokus: Unbedingt auf manuellen Fokus schalten, um sicherzustellen, dass sich dieser im Verlauf der Bilderserie nicht verändert!

#4 Format und Überlappung

Der vermutlich stupideste Tipp von allen, dennoch beachten dies 9 von 10 Fotografen nicht:

Fotografiere die Einzelbilder des Panoramas im Hochformat!

Das hat den einfachen Grund, dass du so eine größere Gesamtauflösung erhältst. Denn die Höhe des fertigen Panoramas entspricht so dem längeren Chip-Ende der Kamera und nicht dem kürzeren. Du hast daher auch insgesamt mehr Bilder in der Serie und folglich mehr Auflösung.

Achte zudem auf ausreichend Überlappung zwischen den einzelnen Fotos. Generell gilt: je mehr desto besser! 25% sollten es aber mindestens sein, damit die Stitching-Software des Vertrauens gut arbeiten kann!

#5 Nützliche Helfer

Wenn du die Zeit und Muße hast, gibt es einige Helfer, mit denen dir perfekte Panoramas gelingen:

  • Rasterüberlagerung
    Bei den meisten DSLRs lässt sich ein Raster entweder im Sucher, in der Live-View Ansicht oder in beiden einblenden. Richte den Horizont mit Hilfe einer dieser Linien aus.
  • Digitale Wasserwaage
    Neuere Kameras haben oft eine eingebaute elektronische Wasserwaage. Beim Einschalten wird die Positionierung der Kamera gemessen und kann bei bedarf entsprechend korrigiert werden.
  • Analoge Wasserwaage
    Viele Stative besitzen sogenannte Libellen, mit denen die Kamera „ins Wasser“ gebracht bzw. nivelliert werden kann. Zudem gibt es Libellen, die sich am Blitzschuh der Kamera befestigen lassen.
  • Panoramakopf
    Für perfekte Ergebnisse kannst du dir auch einen Panoramakopf für dein Stativ besorgen. Ich verwende diesen:
