Schwarz-Weiß Fotografie ist die ursprünglichste, älteste und am längsten bestehende Form der Fotografie.
Während jahrzehntelang schwarz-weiß fotografiert wurde, weil die technischen Möglichkeiten schlichtweg fehlten oder einfach Farbfotografie für Amteurfotografen zu teuer war, gilt die Schwarz-Weiß Fotografie heutzutage als besonderes Stilmittel für die Ästhetik.

Willst du mit der digitalen Schwarz-Weiß Fotografie experimentieren, dann nutze dafür bitte nicht den kamerainternen Schwarz-Weiß Modus.
Fotografiere ganz normal ein (farbiges) RAW. Dann hast du wesentlich mehr Spielraum und kannst in der Nachbearbeitung eine Schwarz-Weiß Fotografie daraus erzeugen.
